Cutting Edge Machining and Automation is looking for a motivated entry level machine operator who will be trained on-site to become an experienced CNC Swiss Operator. We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual able to work with a high level of attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player and having good communications skills are also essential skills for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Set up machines to start a production cycle under the direction of a supervisor or experienced machinist

• Control and adjust machine settings

• Test operation of machines

• Fix issues that might occur during the shift

• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools

• Load raw material into feeder

• Fix issues that might occur during shift

• Complete maintenance and repair logs

• Communicate with machinist and operators from other shifts

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Experience operating CNC machine such as lathes and milling machines a plus

• Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gages, etc.)

• Basic math skills required
